Dead Poets Society is a poignant film that tells the story of Todd Anderson, a timid and reserved young man who is sent to a prestigious school where his famous older brother was once the Valedictorian. Todd’s roommate, Neil Perry, is bright and popular but feels trapped under the strict expectations of his domineering father. Together with their group of friends, they encounter Professor Keating, their new English teacher, who introduces them to the concept of the Dead Poets Society and encourages them to defy the status quo. Each of them embarks on a personal journey, ultimately finding transformation in their own lives.
